BECK
"You won't be left for me if you were dead or still alive , I don't care, I don't care, I don't care"
this is me in the flesh,
NAME: Beck
NICKNAME(S): Becky, although he's not fond of it.
PRONUNCIATION: Rhymes with "peck"; Beh-k
POSITION: Slave
taste the sky,
AGE: 2 years
GENDER: Male
BREED: Grey Wolf
HEIGHT: 26 inches
APPEARANCE:
If one were to run their fingers through Beck's fur, they would find it to be thick and "fluffy", feeling almost soft to the touch with coarse guard hairs. The fur is longer on his ruff, and his body is a light tan color, a tad bit of grays showing through on his legs. His paws are small, his back sloping slightly and his feet pointing outwards a bit. His muzzle is thick, his neck muscled and his shoulders large. His teeth are on the larger size, pearly white and sharp, although one towards the back is chipped at the bottom. His head is large, his ears short, sharp, and triangular. His bushy tail is long to the point of nearly sweeping the ground, coming up short just a few inches. His eyes are medium sized and round, a light brown color, and always seem to hold an inquiring look.
thoughts that make me go insane,
PERSONALITY:
When one first encounters Beck, he comes off as completely indifferent to anything and everything around him. It's nearly impossible to get a dramatic emotion out of him, especially if it is anger, sadness, or joy. He doesn't care what becomes of him, or what he is threatened with; in the end, it seems to change nothing. When you get to know him further, it becomes known that he is self-destructive - or just destructive in general - and a little on the rude side at times. He is not subtle about what he has to say, and he doesn't do well with the things he regrets, letting them get to him. He is an incredibly intelligent wolf, but he almost seems ashamed of it, hiding behind his uncaring persona. At times he can be found to be misguided and self-pitying. He strongly attempts to hide his anguish and emotions behind a false persona.
all over my shoulder,
FATHER: Hakim
MOTHER: Adira
SIBLINGS: Unai and Rawly
HISTORY:
From an early age, Beck's parents had seemed determined to dislike him. They fawned over his sister Unai's looks, couldn't get enough of his brother Rawly's personality, but Beck was left out of their doting. He enjoyed sharing facts and information he learned from nature and other members of the pack, shining with intelligence even at an early age. Because of this, his father seemed to take little interest in Beck, preferring to wrestle playfully with Rawly. His mother attempted to spend time with Beck, but she often got fed up with the puppy, turning instead to her daughter for amusement.
Beck began to wander around the pack more and more, keeping to himself until he encountered a male wolf by the name of Beres. Earlier in the year, Beres had lost his mate to sickness, and Beck had seen him wandering about many times as well. Bored out of his mind, Beck approached the male, which began a fast growing friendship. Beck had finally found someone who would speak with him, listen to his little facts, and appreciate him. By the time Beck was a year, Beres was more of a father to him than his actual father.
The pack had been in a longwinded rivalry with a neighboring pack of a land called Tirim, and one night, the rival pack formed an attack. Their numbers were far greater than the wolves of Beck's pack, and they were able to take half of the wolves prisoner. The other half escaped, but Beck and his parents had been taken. With the alpha's and beta's overthrown, the wolves taken were held in Tirim until it was decided what to do with them. They were fed very little, and soon enough, their spirits were dampened.
It was decided that the wolves would be sold as slaves, and those who protested would be killed. Beck's father was one of the wolves who refused to be broken, and was promptly destroyed. Beck found himself caring very little, although his mother was distraught. Beres was more of a father.
A night before they were to be taken on the long trek to a far away auction grounds, Beres lead the remaining wolves in an attempt to free their pack members. Right before Beck's eyes, Beres was killed by several wolves, his body mangled and destroyed as Beck was lead past it. He blamed himself from that day on for the loss of his father figure, settling into a indifferent mindset. He did not fight as he was led to an area that stank of fear and desperation, nor when he was sold to a dominor. His last act of freedom was to attempt to escape from the dominor a year later, although near the borders of another packs land, he was caught and personally escorted to Auktion rock.
